Awnings
An awning adds to the terrace exactly those hours when the sun would otherwise drive you indoors. What matters is less the fabric than the cassette protecting it.
Cubic cassette awning KKM 5 / KKM 7
Retracted, the fabric disappears completely into an angular cassette. That protects it — and is why a cassette awning still looks good long after an open one does not.

Cassette awning KGM 5 / KGM 6
The same idea with a round cassette and less weight. Where the wall cannot take any load you like, that is the difference.

Cut to the proportions of a balcony: little projection, little build height, and fitted even where a slab gets in the way above.

The open design without a cassette. Cheaper per square metre and made for wide spans — but the fabric stands unprotected, which asks for care.
